Earth day weekend is here!
Saturday agenda-race?
Here's what I considered for this day:
1. brave children 5k
2. shake, rattle and run 5k
3. Deerfield aquathon
4. covenant house 5k
5. legacy 5k
You can automatically rule out #3 because I don't swim. I chose #4, in hindsight, the worse decision podium wise, as it is the only race I had no chance. I didn't help myself by walking a couple of times as well. With no finisher medal, I left the same way I came, with nothing! Parking was horrific.
Sunday agenda-race?
It is earth day! Heres what I found:
1. napa valley half,10k,5k
2. run from the rays 5k
You can automatically rule out the former (out of FL). Guess what I did? Similar to previous in regards to podium but opposite otherwise. I got a finisher medal, raffle offered and a big post race feast, including a 'hot' meal (eggs mixture); a much better event. Oh, and sufficient parking.
