First weekend of March

First weekend of March is here!

Saturday agenda-race?

Here is what I considered for the first Saturday of the month:

1. death valley marathon/half
2. hunger 5k
3. march for cancer 5k
4. race for the arts 5k
5. patches 5k
6. DRI hope 4 a cure 5k

You can automatically rule out the former (out of FL). I picked the latter (closest in proximity). Clint, take it away:

The good: podium, finisher medal, cool
The bad: was 1st then bumped to 2 age
The ugly: the course, wind

Sunday agenda-race?

Here is what I considered for the first Sunday of the month:

1. space race 4 a cure
2. 13.1 marathon and 5k

With all these choices, guess which 1 I picked. Naturally, the latter in Miami. Eastwood time:

The good: beat the last race (broke 24), early start, cool, finisher medal
The bad: more wind than previous day, some rain traveling to race
The ugly: 4 age-didn't place

I got a rare stay in Miami to race this weekend. However, I went from hero to zero.
