Final weekend of june

Final weekend of june is upon us!

Saturday agenda-race?

Here is what I considered for the last Saturday of june:

1. napa valley half
2. Spartan race MN, UT
3. siesta key tri/du
4. down2earth cross country run 10k/5k
5. foam glow 5k
6. freedom 5k

You can automatically rule out the first 2 (out of FL). I passed on the next (furthest race), #4 (grass, dirt, etc) and #5 is out because it is a fun run. Therefore the latter won but unfortunately, a sudden injury occurred (left hip) so I completed it as an easy training run.

Sunday agenda-race?

Here is what I considered for the last Sunday of june:

1.  down2earth trail run half/10k/5k
2.  down 2 nite 5k trail run

Not much to choose from. With having enough trouble with normal turf, I passed on all and sadly, close out the month with only 2 races completed. That was the bad news. The good news is placing 100%. I pray next month, although with few events, will be much better.
