i did the latter. i decided to walk. clint style:

the good: finished, cool weather
the bad: distance to race, no bib (walkers) nor tshirt
the ugly: no finisher medals

i did the latter. eastwood time:

the good: weather, finisher medal
the bad: travel to race
the ugly: penalized bc i live in miami, $10 for bib only, no swag nor shirt.

the bad: had to rush to pickup
the ugly: alarm didnt go off forcing me to hustle, idiot race director hassling me over shirt.

The former was the furthest while the latter was the closest ever to my home, so naturally, i did that one. clint time:

the bad: 8a start the was delayed 10 minutes, humdity and heat
the ugly: bad 10 yr age group bumped me from 2 ag norm to 4th, off the podium

columbus day weekend. a rare friday night zombie run was held; i passed on it.
